2014
It was a road trip of a lifetime. A series of memories we learned to cherish overtime. Though we slept most of the time in the car during our journey, slept enough that we were scolded by our driver.
I wondered then, what the sheep grazed on when all we saw was barren land. Until I saw mountain sheep traveled far and up the mountains to graze.
This part of our journey was more of a field trip for the geologists amongst our friends. They looked at stones and fossils with fascination and wonder, the kind the rest of us didn't understand then.
As the years pass, the more I travel, my perception has become more introspective. The world has become more opinionated and even more crucial now to respect those opinions.
Morocco was our last trip together as University students, there were six of us, with different personalities but we treated one another with respect and consideration during our travel. It was memorable because there were little to no conflicts and unnecessary drama. We were the adults in our youthful travel.
