Past late summer I was in the mood for filming something but had no specific idea what exactly that could be. So I just went outside with my camera spontaneously filming everything I liked that crossed my way. That's how the video "City Impressions" came into being. It's a montage of different impressions of my hometown Landau. The clip shows the city with its various facets: people walking in the pedestrian area, the traffic, green spaces. It's supposed to capture and convey the particular atmosphere of the town - just the way you experience it when you go for a walk there in that season.

The music for the video was written and recorded by a good friend of mine from Austria - Andreas Hoppe. It has a quite melancholic character and is deliberately kept plain and simple. The piano piece is there to support the film and underlines both the gentle atmosphere and the slight breeze displayed in the recordings.
