Self Portrait: I got Antonio Vista to take a picture of me, edited it in Adobe Photoshop, then imported it into Adobe Illustrator, and used the pen tool to draw out shapes, of which were filled with the color of the area it was covering. I wanted very good detail and contrast, resulting in it taking significantly more time than expected, albeit with good results. However, as I was running out of time, I could not put much detail on the hair, although I did attempt to at some point. Additionally, as the lighting was not very good in the classroom, there was a sharp contrast between the natural light and the artificial light, of which can be reflected upon by the sharp difference in color between the two sides of my face.
