For my typography class, I was tasked to develop and create a comprehensive typography system for any proposed case study. I chose to make newsprint collateral for online media website, Vox, using its existing brand identity, as well as photos, illustrations, and articles that can be found on the website.
NOTE: This is not in affiliation with Vox. All media used belongs to Vox; the purpose of this project was just to create a typography system using Vox as a case study.
Typography System
I selected Freight Sans pro for headers and title texts, and Harriet Text for body text.
Usage
To show the typography system's usage, I created sample layout spreads for each section of the newspaper. All photos, illustrations, and articles belong to their respective owners and are credited in the newspaper sample spreads.
