Glow In The Dark Wooden Stool
Woodshop Class Assignment
Inspired by the many glow in the dark wooden table designs, I decided to make this wooden stool project glow in the dark.
I started with a slab of burled pepper wood that I had to plane and shape into a usable piece. I wanted to maintain the natural shape and deformities of the wood, so I shaped the piece in a way that would highlight that.
The gaps were filled with a mix of glow in the dark powder and transparent glue and sealed with polyurethane. The legs consist of poplar wood with a cherry stain.
