Gordy Fine Art & Framing: Community Identity

Gordy Fine Art & Framing is a local business in Muncie, Indiana. Their main service is framing artwork and photography, but they also sell artwork from local artists and art students. As part of a project to reach out to a local business and redesign their current identity system, I communicated to the current owners of Gordy, Carl and Barbara Schafer, to breath new life into their design deliverables. The main selling point of their business is that everything they provide is handcrafted on site to add a feel of personalization to the framing, and I strove to emulate that with the new system I designed. In addition to a primary and secondary logo, I also created a new design for a business card for both owners, an artist tag for the artwork, a draw ticket, and a letterhead, as can be seen below.
