For this project it had to be an abstract plaster carving. I wanted to do a curved shape, vaguely based on the design of a flame. 

While I have worked with plaster before it was mostly plaster strips. This was my first time working with a plaster block. It got harder to carve the plaster as it hardened more throughout the days I worked on it. However, it was a good experience and I was glad to get other experience working with plaster. This is the final product.
