INCENSE
The package design is for an incense brand which features the fragrance of several Taiwan’s aboriginal cedar tree species. The illustrations show how Taiwanese people treasure these trees and the important role these plants play in people’s daily lives. There are three drawings of different scenarios on the packages which represents a household scene arranged side by side. In addition, Chinese carved wooden folding screen is a type of oriental furniture which can be set up to partition a room and create a sense of space.
When using the image of folding screen in structural packaging design, it invites people to open the package and reveals the story of the precious indigenous cedar trees.
