In Indonesia fried foods are a popular snack. Fried sellers can be found on the side of the road or around by picking up or carts. Materials coated with flour and fried dough include; fried banana, tempeh, tofu, oncom, sweet potato, cassava, cireng (Sundanese: Aci fried), which is fried cassava flour, breadfruit, and bakwan (in West Java called "bala-bala") which is flour mixture mixed with cabbage and carrot.

Rujak is a traditional food that is usually made from a mixture of various kinds of vegetables or fruit and spiked with spices or gravy mixed with chili. Rujak is easily found in Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore and there is called rojak.

Es campur is one of the typical Indonesian drinks that makes it by mixing various types of ingredients in sweet syrup. The material used as ingredients usually tastes sweet or sour. Ice mixed can be found in various regions in Indonesia with different flavors and ingredients. Therefore the origin of mixed ice is difficult to determine.
