The background
Coming to the end of my chemotherapy back in 2018 I knew I wanted to mark the occasion with something unique. I wanted a medal for all the biopsies, surgeries, chemo treatments, blood tests, scans and everything in between that had spanned over the last two years. After spending some time looking online for something I was shocked to find nothing on the market. So I used my creative skills and love for typography to launch a crowd-funding campaign using Kickstarter. Within the seven day campaign I had raised over 230% of the target needed to produce these products aimed at cancer patients, survivors and thrivers.
