Made as a present for the owner of the first Goshiwon I stayed at in Seoul. Their logo was this blue beaver that seemed to sort of change in design. This was my first time drawing a beaver and especially a blue one.

Color-wise I went for a more purple blue working as both a contrast with the red backdrop I had decided early on, but then additionally the red would tint the blue towards a more purple hue, which lended to a more interesting and satisfying tone.

This was all done over 2 days in the Holly's cafe across the street.
