Here is where I get myself in trouble... My humor knows no taboos and can get a little dark at times. That being said, I really enjoy comedians who can take it to that level. The objective here was to create a brochure with collateral, for a fictional festival from any topic of my choice. I had to take inspiration from a prominent illustrator and create all of our own illustrations for the project. My inspiration came from an old favorite of mine, Aubrey Beardsley who, for those of you familiar with his drawings, I believe would have appreciated the nature of brochure.

 

The Festival is the Crude Humor Stand Up Fest. It is a weekend long festival of vulgar language and dirty laughs. Featured in the brochure are illustrations of Chris Rock, Daniel Tosh, Louis C.K., Whitney Cummings, Bill Maher, and the Whitest Kids U' Know. The back of the brochure unfolds to reveal a commemorative poster of George Carlin.

 

Also included with the shirt is a bag and a t-shirt that I wear on a regular basis.

 

I’m aware that this project is not for everyone, but I consider this a case where I’m designing with a very specific audience in mind
