"LA MASCARA OCULTA" is a child story written and illustrated by Luis A. Fernández published in June, 2018. Through the story the author involve the reader in a mistery mood, and develops an athmosphere where values and ancient beliefs from Ecuador culture are shown. This story was part of a collection of called "Cuentos contados desde la artesanía", and promoted and developed by Subte de la Chuna. This was an editorial project focused on cultural impact on Cuenca, Ecuador. Furthermore, this story was choosed for being part of "Plan Nacional del Libro y la Lectura", which is a government project from Ecuador that aims to invole children and population in the habit of reading.
