The Beach Setback is made for the comfort and convenience of the people, as we all know, Filipinos are the type of people who just want to have fun and enjoy the place and the scenic view. In my design, I emphasized the movement of the place by playing with the hierarchy of the Esplanade and the beach itself. I want to show and make them feel that the place is flowing.

Coral reefs are diverse underwater ecosystems held together by calcium carbonate structures secreted by corals. Coral reefs are built by colonies of animals found in marine waters that contain few nutrients. Most coral reefs are built from stony corals, which in turn consist of polyps that cluster in groups.

Just like us, we humans build structures not just for protection but for our convenience too. In a coral reef, colonies of marine animals live in the coral reef wherein they make it suitable for them to live. Each group of the colonies make their own structure which makes the colour and the structure of the coral different from each other. As for my concept, I want to use coral reefs for my design, I want to show the play of colours and structures just like what a coral reef is. I also want to apply the protection and the convenience of what a coral reef is really made, and that is to protect the ones who is living inside of the structure.

Coral Reefs are one of the tourist attractions in Palawan.  I want to showcase it because we all know that  Coral Reefs are in danger and I want the people to see the value and importance of the Coral Reefs not just in the Philippines but around the world. I want the people to appreciate the beauty of the Coral Reefs.

The Provincial Road is one of the significant things that should be well designed, in this road, I made sure that it is not just for the transportation experience but for the People too, In my design I also added Green Walls with wavy forms under the ramps beside the wavy posts. It is in our culture that we Filipinos take pictures of what we think is nice and beautiful and I want that to happen in my design. I want to showcase my design with the beauty of Palawan, promoting Palawan and the Coral Reefs.

The Provincial Road is  especially made for transportation, but for me, I still wanted to give the people an amazing experience on the road. I wanted my design to look simple yet intricate, I used some forms from the Coral Reefs in the pavements and in the Train area, I also added a green roof on top of the shaded Train area.
