These are 5x5 illustrations I did every day for the month of October using Youtuber/Illustrator Sha'an d'Anthes', also known as Furrylittlepeach, Inktober prompt.

Going through the prompt I already had it set out that I wanted it to be cute and witty. I wanted to play with different ideas so I did thumbnailing for each prompt before starting on day 1, keeping in mind that I would want to animate these illustrations in the future. I wanted to challenge myself to illustrate in Adobe Illustrator because I'm a big fan of illustrating/drawing on Adobe Photoshop using my Wacom Tablet. I've always hated how slow illustrating in Illustrator can be. Now, after all these prompts I have a new found love for Adobe Illustrator.
Some of my favorite illustartions I made for this Drawtober is the Icecream and the Rocket.

The Icecream was inspired by a Corgi's butt. Before doing this prompt I saw videos of Corgi's on my timeline and got inspired by them. If the Hachiko statue hasn't made it obvious yet, then, FYI I love all dogs.
The rocket was supposed to be a typical rocket but while drawing it, I suddenly remembered that I used to have erasers and pencil toppers just like that back when I was a child, so I decided to do an illustration inspired by that instead. I still wanted it to look like as if it's still a rocket flying through space that's why I made the pencil look like fire coming out from the rocket.

The Koala prompt is inspired by a BT21 character named Koya

ALSO, a reminder: Love is not a choice.
The bread prompt was inspired by a bread from the Philippines called Kababayan. It's a  really tasty bread. Very soft, a little bit dense, and sweet.
What made me really want to do a digital version of Inktober - can I still call it Inktober when it's digital? Anyway, I wanted to do a digital one because I saw lots of illustration that has this noise texture going through the design and I've been dying to try that in my illustrations. Also, I've always been one to lean on desaturated and pastel colors when it comes to my personal projects. This Inktober was the perfect chance for me to play with different colors; which then eventually developed to me falling in love with vibrant colors. I love how blinding colors can get but somehow still look pleasing to the eyes.
