My wife and I are amateur bird lovers and observers. I recall in my past, during my early years, being somewhat fearful when grasping a bird that had struck a window and been stunned. I feared that should I grasp the injured bird too tightly, that I might harm it more. Conversely, I also feared that should I grasp it too loosely, that it might get away and I would then be denied helping it at all. I now reflect that it is somewhat like a Father or Grandpa as he has children and grandchildren. Oh yes, I recall that when my wife, in early years) was a Girl Guide, she rescued a hummingbird which had fallen into a lake.( Just the right touch!) My Wings Suite Thoughts
