A few goals were to create a user friendly site that’s easy to navigate and reflect the mood and feel of the community. To make the site more user friendly, the layout was simplified and uses bold color to guide the user along different sections. The use of bold color gives an overall vibrant and lively feel. The design is open concept and remains clean and crisp with smooth transitions of color in between sections. This approach makes the design feel more cohesive and less sectioned off. For body text a san-serif font was used to remain clean and readable. For title areas, a handwritten style font was used to give a personalized artsy edge to the design.
