Aesthetic Education Program
KIT LESSONS
當人們感受到一件物品、一個畫面很美，或許是它的元素構成讓人們的視覺感受舒適愉悅。在美感課程計畫中，這些元素是通往美感的入口。我們將這些入口分為六類並做成課程，這些課程是用手思考的學習，亦是以探索為歷程的體驗。在工作坊中帶領老師們體驗，也讓他們帶著這些體驗回去融合進自己的課程計畫之中。
Funded by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education, KIT LESSONS is written by a cohort of design school professors. Teachers all over Taiwan were invited to review these lessons and bring the materials back to the classroom. As a graphic designer, I consolidated and synthesized different concepts and questions regarding design thinking and aesthetic so that educators in the frontline can provide students a more comprehensive learning experience.
PROBLEMS THAT WE ARE FACING
While aesthetic becomes more and more important, we don’t have available teachers to teach it. As a result, all aesthetic lessons become hand craft and decoration class.
Professors specialized in design thinking develop these lessons as the entrance of aesthetic. And my task is presenting them in a proper way so that the teachers can understand the meaning of the lessons and feel easy to use them.
KIT lessons received an Honorable Mention DNA Paris Design Award.

每一組KIT都包含有資料夾、說明書、以及六大類的課程書，課程書又分有給老師看的以及給學生看的。
Every KIT combination contains a folder, a guide book and six categories of textbooks. There are two kinds of textbook, one for teacher and one for student.
GUIDE BOOK
KIT lessons are designed for teachers and students to explore all kinds of possibility of basic aesthetic. The guide book is about how the principle of KIT lessons and the instruction of textbooks.
TEXTBOOK
可拆卸的資料夾設計，讓未來有繼續擴充的可能性。
The openable clip allows expansion.
給學生用的課程摺頁只包含練習步驟。
The textbook for the student only contains practice steps.
PAPER MODEL
我們設計了抽象的紙模，讓想像不被具體的形象束縛。
We would like the student to think while operating, and we don’t want their imagination to be limited by concrete teaching material. Therefore we design these different abstract paper models for different lessons.
上面這些紙模可以做成生活器具的模樣，因為抽象的外表，他們可以是任何器具。
並且藉由器具的承重與破壞，來實際體會結構的存在。
The paper model can be combined as a container for daily use.The structure can be observed by the damage due to added weight.
