Explanation:

We based our poster off the topic of  “environment”. In Belize the environment is a tropical rainforest, and a problem they have is trying to conserve it, or in other words, treating it with the respect it needs. One of the goals of the immersion trip to Belize is environmental justice. This both has to do with the people who co-live with the rainforest. In our travel poster we should just that. You can see the palm trees and behind them in the horizon you can see the city lights. This just shows how people and nature have to both live together. We know how this goes, nature is a brutal force, and humans are too, for the fact that they are major polluters.  Our logo was for Belize is the official logo of the country, The reason we used it was because what else would look and describe Belize then a logo specially made to describe Belize. Each of the different colors describe unique about the country, and the Toucan adds a more aesthetic and deeper meaning to the logo. It also fits nicely with our topic of the environment. We had two ideas before our final draft, but we chose the one we chose because of the nice contrast the Belize logo had with the dark night sky.
