Creative Protest

This project explores the way creatives have used their art as a form of protest. I used the Dadaism movement as inspiration as it was well known for its political messages throughout World War 1. Photomontage was a popular medium for Dada artists, therefore I used found imagery and text from newspapers and books to create compositions that convey the messages of protest signs used during the anti-trump rallies and women's marches in early 2017.
My body is not your property.
Little hands build little walls.
Powered by the men in ties.
