I've always love the art that came out of the 30's, especially the work commissioned by the WPA. It employed designers and advertised such important topics as parks and using soap.

These prints were created as part of a fund raiser for KC's Big Brothers Big Sisters. I tried to model each of the posters heavily on the old style without being too much of a pastiche. I even created a logo for the fictitious "WPA Kansas City Culture Division" which is the sort of local group that would have commissioned such work back in the old days.
