During my time at La Red Berlin, I was also a part of the Jägermeister Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat team. (more below)
Jägermeister went from the old, dusty liquor that your grandma drank after dinner, to the cult shot- and mix-drink that guarantees a great party – all in the course of a couple of years – also due to its social media presence. The young and sometimes cheeky tone of voice managed to speak to the brands newly defined audience of young adults (18-25 years old) and created a faithful online following, as well as some Facebook frenemies (see here). The 3 or 4 weekly posts make sure that the recognizable Jägermeister light-heartedness stays fresh and introduces some irreverent coolness, that the brand wants to stand for in the future.
