As a UI designer in this personal project for the University of Virginia Library website, my primary focus was on creating an interface that seamlessly integrates academic materials, news, and general information about the institution. A essential aspect of my work was the proposal for the homepage, where I emphasized the search area to enhance the user experience. By making it prominent, my intention was to streamline access to catalogs and articles within the virtual library. Through thoughtful design choices, my goal was to create a user-friendly interface that offers convenient and efficient navigation for users, facilitating their exploration and utilization of the extensive resources available at the University of Virginia Library.
