Bow Coffee Table

A coffee table which integrates the surrounding environment into its design. Similar to many prairie cities, the Bow River in Calgary become an inseparable element of the urban environment. As it meanders through the downtown core, urban life takes place around, over and in the river. Taking this as inspiration, the Bow Table integrates the Bow River into its surface: the otherwise flat table surface is split and the banks of the river add dimension and interest.
