Pattern Illustration
Below is an ongoing series of illustration involving pattern.
The Pineapple pattern piece was inspired by the bright, colourful and summery season, and although England isn't quite tropical, we can dare to dream :)
The seagull pattern piece was inspired by the illustrative coastal work I have designed previously. Creating the seagulls with line work instead of full colour adds interest to the piece, and furthermore the background featuring geometric shapes adds texture to the drawing.
