Nine by Nine Joinery Cube:
    The basis of the project is wood-word pairings; these consist of one verb and one modifier that are individually selected by the student. The two words chosen for this cube are INTERWEAVING and SLIDING. Notch joints are used along with layering to create a weave type texture throughout the cube. Sliding is achieved by pulling up on the main center “threads” so that the sides can slide out.
