In response to Michael Fried's Art and Objecthood, written in 1967, The Semiotics of Minimalism is a theoretical fine art exhibition designed and created by Kaley Henning. It is comprised of works by Minimalist sculptors Richard Serra, Dan Flavin, Jules Olitski, and Robert Morris. The catalogue was created in place of the actual exhibition, complete with a response essay written by the designer.
