This is a Public Service Announcement about the need to get prepared for emergencies. I had picked this subject because it is important to have emergencies in place when the time comes to be ready. I felt that this subject is not known enough in the public eye. It needs more public exposure and therefore I took advantage of the need when I picked my subject for this assignment. I used Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop and then Indesign. A long process, but a lot has been learned.
This is another version of the Public Service Announcement that I did for this class. I used a volcano to show that we could have a need in the big city or the back yard, it would not matter. In the big city, people don't really see the need or think about preparedness.
The image here is to show that cell phone towers would not work if the satellites didn't. If we had a cyber war we could be without cell coverage and that could cause a war and rioting and more. Ham Radio transmission does not depend on satellites.
This is my final draft! I have added all three to show off the images together. All the same message, but different impact. I hope with these differences, people can be reach from different perspectives. Allot of work, but I am proud of it. Not perfect, but nice just the same.
