I'm interested in the complexity of human being and nomadic identities. I am not who I am but who I am becoming.
My art practice explores deep into myself along with my observation of others and the society. My inspiration draws from contention in my own life, which I visualize in different series of artwork reflecting different sides of my existence.
Every project tells a different aspect and each one is represented by my various alter egos named Flux, Corvus, Blastard, and Alpha/Omega. There are many more yet to be explored. The alter egos are tools which I use to talk about different topics through my art practice, they each have their own theme and personality.
Flux represents my desire to be perfect while maintaining my true self.
Corvus embodies my social anxiety and solitude
Blastard personifies my happiness, lust, and freedom
Alpha/Omega is about my bicultural identity
Ultimately, my art helps me cope with my reality and truly understand my paradoxical self.
