Adobe Illustrator Portrait: Taya Smith, Hillsong United Singer

Our first Illustrator assignment in my Digital Imaging course was to choose a portrait of a celebrity, edit the image into shapes of only 5 values (without using the Image Trace tool), and fill each of the shapes with one of five colors that had a corresponding value. I chose a blue-green monochromatic scheme because Taya Smith is known for the song "Oceans." I love photographing and drawing people, so I really enjoyed this challenge.
