Prague Pride Parade

The Challenge
Prague Pride wanted to dedicate their 2014 edition to the oppressed LGBT communities around the world, who can't express freely in their countries.

The Solution
They may be silenced in their own countries, but they're not in ours! That's why we decided to give them a voice here. To achieve this, we became HUMAN AVATARS for the oppressed gay around the world at Prague Parade 2014. In this way, we could restore their freedom of speech in our country, permitting them to express safely and stand up for their rights. Each human avatar connected virtually with someone less free and represented them at Prague Pride Parade.

Results
More than 1000 human avatars out of the 17000 participants represented people from all over the world.
The campaign got international coverage and other Pride organisations want to adopt the mechanism.

Secure website permits the oppressed to register anonymously and get their avatar. On the other hand, the mobile app helps human avatars to connect and interact in real time with the ones represented.
Celebrities became the first human avatars and got people to register too.
The oppressed were reached through activists around the world and targeted ads and articles.
At the Parade, the human avatars completed the requests of the people they connected with.
