As the Art Director I orchestrated the ideas, presented to Thai clients, provided examples of outfits, makeup and hair; led the photo shoots; and directed final touch-ups and placement of the final Thai text.
Print ads were converted to in-store signage across Thailand.
The ads I created were for bi-monthly sales. The client asked for a "dapper man in a suit with a fun side" for this ad. I pitched the idea to use a well-known Thai television star and the idea that nice clothes gets you girls' phone numbers.
While adapting to the Thai language, I personally was in charge of presenting my idea boards to my Thai clients in English as they responded back in Thai. A difficult endeavor but I learned great deal about communication.
