Myanmar Trip 14, Part 3

This is the final part from my 14th trip to Myanmar and traveling with the Fujifilm GFX 50s camera system.

I have to say, I am still amazed at how comfortable this camera is to work with. Obviously the quality and file size is the whole point of using this system, even if it seems ridiculous in these times of cell phone images being “good enough”.

Why would I even bother carrying a big camera, lenses, laptop and hard drives and put myself through hours and hours of editing, processing and managing all this material.

Well because I still believe that quality comes first. I can’t wait to make really large prints, stand back appreciate the look and feel of these images from this camera system.

Sure you could get “good enough” from a cell phone and certainly very good quality from a DSLR and other mirrorless cameras. But nothing can compare to the look and feel of these images shot with this camera, especially when seen as very large prints.

The one word that keeps coming up to describe the images from this camera is  “Smooth”. The gradation between highlight and shadow, sharp edges to out of focus backgrounds, range of tones and colours, well it is all just so smooth.
