Clear the stage for gestaltig! At our ten year anniversary we led our clients and associates into an imaginary circus world, with the smell of popcorn and hay, at the nearby TV studios. With a lot of creativity and humor our guests themselves became part of the show – fittingly at the April 27th 2018, the world-graphic-artist-day.
Jubiläumsdesign
Das Design stand auch ganz im Zeichen des Werbezirkus. Eine dankbare Mischung aus chic, selbstironisch und typografisch verspielt findet sich in der Einladung und den wöchentlichen Social-Media Posts zur Einstimmung vor dem Fest wieder. Auf der Feier lasen die Gäste in einem Begrüßungsplakat Wissenswertes rund um »gestaltig hinter der Bühne«. Wer sind die Kunden? Was macht das Team aus, welche Facts sind erwähnenswert? Wie war die Entwicklung in den letzten Jahren? Das Ganze nicht in Form schnöder Auflistungen, sondern spielerisch-kreativ und mit viel Humor in Szene gesetzt.
Anniversaydesign
Main theme of the whole anniversary design was the »advertising circus« (in German a usually deprecatory word for advertising efforts). With a mixture of chic, self mockery and a playful typography the invitaition and all the social media postings got our guests into the right mood even before the great festivities began. Our visitors were able to learn some trivia and fun facts about our agency by means of a stylish welcome poster with the topic: »gestaltig backstage«. Who are our clients? What is special about our team, which facts are worth knowing? How did we develop over the period of ten years? All the information is presented devoid of boring listings, but in a creative and fun way.
Ein neuer Name für gestaltig?
Nur ein temporärer Name. Wir baten unsere Gäste um Abstimmung über drei Namen, die bei der Gründung von gestaltig vor 10 Jahren alternativ zur Verfügung standen. Ein kleiner Spaß. »Wer macht denn so was?« fragen Sie sich gerade? Die gleichen Leute, die ihr Jubiläum auch »10 Jahre Werbezirkus« tauften. Das Rennen gemacht hat übrigens der Name »urschrei« – wir zeigten ihn für eine Dauer von einem Tag je Firmenjahr anstelle unseres Logos auf der Website.
A new name for gestaltig?
Just a temporay name. With a poll we asked our guests to vote between three names, which had been potential alternatives names for gestaltig 10 years ago. A little joke. »Who does something like that?« you ask? The same people who call their anniversary »10 years of advertising circus«. Winner of the poll was the name »urschrei« (primal scream) – we showed it for the duration of 10 days instead of our normal logo on our website.
Eindrücke
Wir freuen uns, mit unseren Gästen auf 10 Jahre gestaltig angestoßen zu haben. Viele davon begleiten uns teilweise schon seit der Gründung. Was es bisher noch nicht gab: Viele dieser langen Bekanntschaften in einem Raum, zu einem Anlass. Mit netten Gesprächen und Anekdoten. Mit Kontakte knüpfen und vielleicht zukünftigen Synergien. Hier sind ein paar Eindrücke des Abends zu sehen. Vielen Dank auch an die Düsseldorfer Band »The Happy Gangstas«, die mit ihrem »Polka Jazz & Chachacha« für reichlich Stimmung und gute Laune gesorgt haben.
Impressions
We are happy to clink our glasses with our guest to celebrate 10 years of gestaltig. A lot of them accompany us since the formation of our agency. What was not possible until now: All of these longlasting contacts in one room, for the same reason. With nice discussions and anecdotes. With making new contacts and perhaps future synergies. In the following chapter you can see some impressions of the evening. Thanks a lot to the band »the happy gangstas« from Düsseldorf, who generated a great atmosphere and high spirits with »polka jazz & chachacha«.
