It’s Mermay on IG so figured I’d make her a mermaid. Last year I was really inspired by this orca Mermaid created by Aaron Blaise, and had been wanting to do my own interpretation.
Great White sharks are often considered to be the fiercest and most dominant predators in the ocean. The orca is in fact the dominant apex predator of the ocean as they occasionally dine on the sharks. Here we have a strong Black Orca Queen effortlessly rising up to dominate the Great white. Since that shark is about 15ft that makes her around 160ft which is twice the length of a blue whale!
