Portraits series from a street market in Bahrain
The gulf region is known for its hot climate for most of the year, therefore streets markets are hardly seen during the day. Everything is in air-conditioned malls. However, when the weather cools down, you get to see street markets coming to life again. Market 338 was organized by local artists where some of them sell their art works, others sell a carefully selected set of goods from all over the world. The place was decorated with a funky and stylish decoration that captured the attention of local people. I leave you with a visual story about the market and some of its artists.
منطقة الخليج معروفة بجوها الحار في اغلب العام ، لذلك لا نرى فيها الأسواق الخارجية الا في الأماكن الشعبية في الصباح الباكر. كل شئ داخل مجمعات تجارية ضخمة ومكيفة. لكن عند حلول الشتاء ، تعود الأسواق الخارجية إلى الحياة
سوق ٣٣٨ كان من تنظيم معرض الرواق الفني ، وهم مجموعة من فناني البحرين الذين نظمواً سوقاً خارجياً لبيع اعمالهم الفنية او لبيع بضائع اختاروها بعناية من حول العالم. ديكور المكان كان مميزاً والجرافيتي وفن الشارع كان حاضراً في كل مكان
