The design studio was about the redevelopment of an historic area in the Vicenza city centre. A new multifunctional building, could have been developed attached the Palazzo Civena, a 1500’ building designed by Andrea Palladio.

The project consists in a series of pure forms which penetrate each other following the urban alignments and creating a complex building shape. The core of these rotations-penetrations is the large main hall, within the ancient Trissino Loggia has been placed (it was originally on the side of the Palazzo Civena) and around which the main staircase has been developed.
