Phantasm

I used Premiere Pro to make the video have the unsettling and creepy feel. Like you were living my nightmare. I also used it to have the shadows suddenly appear in the kitchen sequence. I used After Effects to do all the special effects you saw in the film. I created an energy ball and used key frames to have it move how I wanted it to. I wanted to learn more about another program while doing this project so I tried to pick up Illustrator for my credit sequence to create those child like drawings you just saw. I decided to do the title sequence like this because I didn't want you to know at all what you were getting into. I just wanted you to look at this word, wonder what it meant and that was it. As a child, I drew my shadows all the time. So I was inspired to draw my credits like a child would. The reason why the shadows went to the face after being hit was because my shadows were getting engulfed by their own darkness and then going away like I "defeated" them. I wanted to show you what it's like to have pseudo hallucinations and what it felt like to live a constant nightmare. Even though someone looks okay on the outside doesn't mean they are okay on the inside.
