This Character Design way back in my college life where I researched some tribe in the Philippines for my study purpose matter and I found out about the Boholano. I used the design based on a reference and make it a sort of a cartoon like. I kept the design looks simple and added the shadow to his skin tone so it will looks more lively.
I chose Boholano because of it's culture and for me, it is iconic to see their outfits to distinguished who they really are. Check out my design here below and hopefully you like it.
