These pictures are part of a serie on the first sentences of books.  

They are here illustrating the very first sentence of The Stranger ("Today mommy died") of the book of French author Albert Camus. The intent is to depict the fading memory of the author toward one of his most cherished person: his mother. 

In all pictures appears this same haunting presence, lost in the surreal landscape of the mind, between reminiscing memory and hallucination.
