This poster was created through Illustrator using the pen tool and the shape tool. My client wanted to advertise an event taking place in Forest Park, and wanted something that would catch the eye right away. They wanted to stray away from only having text to explain the event, and try to use an illustration of what the event would be. I came up with the color scheme because wine is made of grapes and so I tried to find colors that would correlate. The biggest challenge of this project was that the client was not sure about the logo of the event name. In the original sketches, it had only text but they wanted something more. I played with the typography and came up with making the letter e into a glass of wine.
