I spent April 26th and 30th trying to throw on the wheel. As can be seen in the first photo, I initially struggled a lot. I had a hard time figuring out how specific motions affected the shape of the clay and struggled with centering. I am happier with my latest attempt and I think I did much better at thinning out the cylinder and keeping it smooth. I plan on continuing to work on the wheel to figure out more techniques and to improve my work.
