A mobile app designed to inform the user about the Arts in Transit program that brings the work of contemporary artists directly to the public that use the New York City transit system. Although not a unique concept (similar apps include the Meridian app by Arts for Transit and Art by Subway), this redesign is meant to be more engaging to the user by offering an immersive experience with the works of art. The Art in the Subway wordmark was developed using the mosaic letterforms originally designed by Heins and LaFarge as a basis.
