I redid the San Juan county flag for the flag off the coast of Washington. The original flag was a simple blue flag with a white orca in the middle, surrounded by a circle of stars and the name of the county written on the far left. The new flag that I created holds the orca fin at the center of the flag (figuratively) and keeps a constant color scheme with a more relative culture within the flag. The fin like figure on the bottom right is the native cultural symbol for an orca. I then used this color scheme throughout the flag. The lign through the middle represents sailing, as sailing is done in a zigzag fashion.
