Introduction
United Engine Corporation ("UEC") is a company that is engaged in the production of gas-turbine engines for aviation, nautical and industrial use. Recently the company marked the tenth anniversary since its foundation by taking part in an international engine exhibition. Sila Sveta developed multimedia design for the exposition and created an introduction video about the company for the evening.
We had only two and a half weeks to produce everything before the exposition started.
Storyboard
The video we have created was for the introduction part of the event. There is a certain emotional path that goes up illustrating progressive development of the company. The path also symbolizes the track of UEC products from the smallest screw to the spaceship engines flying higher and faster transferring the viewers to the top heights.
Style Frames
The scenario is telling a story from two perspectives at the same time:
1. Hangar is where all the engine details are shown precisely in detail
2. Flight of rockets and planes using engines produced by UEC
2. Flight of rockets and planes using engines produced by UEC
It was important to conform styleframes with the client the soonest possible in order to start the preparation process with animation. That is why we have decided to stop with only 3 styleframes that clarified the whole video to the client.
