Faces of Hunger in LA (FHLA)

Subjects: The Hungry of LA County
Synopsis: I embedded within the food distribution service of Crops. Inc (501c3) at the Hansen Dam location. Average session was 2 hours. One day was sunny, the other two were chilled and rainy. These hungry souls stood in line to receive various food items -- potatoes, cooking oil, juice, pollo, and other food items. Brief chats with the subjects revealed that many are working individuals and families seeking assistance to bridge the gap between 'not enough to 'just enough' with the supplemental food items.
