Family Crest
Introduction
I am Teague Carlson and I am new to Abode Illustrator and this is my first project with it. I thought Illustrator would hard to figure out, but turns out it is really easy. would beOur project was to create a family crest. We were to use symbols and colors that were meaningful to our family.
Ideation
I talked to my family about our family history, I knew we were mostly Swedish but, We are German and Dutch as well. My mom's side of the family used to be farmers and ranchers and have lived in Arizona all their lives. My dad's side are mostly corn farmers on Nebraska and are very swedish.

The crest represents my family the best. The yellow and blue represent the large swedish side of my family. The three crowns in the bottom is a swedish symbol. The cow in the top right represents the cattle both sides of my family that used or still are ranchers. The corn in the top left represents the corn farms my family owns. My parents were married in 1998 and the first Carlson's to live in Arizona. I also used the corn husks in the top left to make a laurel for my crest.
