Photographic Essay- Nature vs Man

The animal (or subject) emerges into the wilderness to explore the beauties of nature. Unaware of the human made aspect of the world.
From the perspective of the animal (perspective is evident in all photos), he discovers some  of the natural growth in the park. He notices the beauty in the smallest things.
The animal begins to climb a tree, with the sun glaring along the side of it's face it tries to avoid direct sun light, still unaware of the environment that human's have made for the animals.
The animal further observes the beauties of nature as it comes across a moth who has landed on a flower. It begins to appreciate everything in nature.

The animal comes across another creature of nature, giving life to a beautiful flower. The animal thinks of all of the ways this natural world benefits the other inhabitants of it.
After spending time discovering it's new surroundings, it has discovered a way to the unnatural world, unable to see from its to the ground perspective.
The animal has discovered the new world. This new world is dirtier than its original, its once clean and natural habitat has become full of artificial machines that pollute the air with their fumes.
The animal continues to discover more about this weird new world when it comes across knocked over trash bins, it realizes that the trash has washed away with the storm, running off into a storm drain that can eventually end up into an ocean somewhere.
The animal discovers weird tubes that he fears can be choked on by birds who may be drawn to eat them The animal also wonders why wouldn't these "tubes" and bins be in the bins rather than be on the side of the road. The animal begins to become alarmed with the amount of problems that can become of the environment with all of this litter scattered.
Although seemingly harmless, the animal discovers one of the many plants being crushed by a wheel, although harmless, it makes the creature think about what humans may be doing the environment with their machines and carelessness.
After a long journey of discovering what the humans have done to the environment outside of its sheltered environment, the animal finally comes face to face with the human, who are responsible for the pollution and problems that have impacted the environment.
After a short face off, the animal is finally aware of what the human is actually capable of, and the l of decency that some have. Before the animal begins to run, it thinks about what may happen if all humans begin to just pick up after themselves and stop themselves from littering.
1. I chose this theme or story because I wanted to create a serious statement though a story that may or may not be interpreted in a certain way.
2. I wanted to convey the message that through carelessness and being inconsiderate we have polluted our own environment and nearly destroyed what it once was, but there is still hope to make this environment a better place.
3. I too photos through a very vegetated and green park that looked like an area that would be lively, I often upped the exposure a tad too to add the lighter mood, but then when I got up to the neighborhood I darkened the image.
4. I learned how to better make a meaning in my photography and take photos with purpose of moving people.
