Arthritis Care London Underground Long Copy Advert Competition entry
 
This poster was our entry in the 2010 Long Copy poster (the condition of entry was that the copy needed to have something to do with London Underground, however tenuous). I was involved in the initial discussions about the concept (regarding design and images) and later had some input into the copy itself (helping with a rewrite), along with designing and artworking the poster.
 
The poster made the Awards 'Long List' which meant that it got 2 weeks of exposure at a high-profile Tube station. This exposure meant that it ended up raising the profile of the charity considerably and increased traffic to both the helpline and the website.
 
Arthritis Care Information Leaflet
 
A 4pp A5 leaflet that was designed to alert readers (GP's practices, hospitals, libraries) to Arthritis Care's services. Like a lot of our material it was done in the organisation's Rubine Red brand colour.
 
Reach Out supporter newsletter
 
The supporter newsletter was in a poor state when I was asked to redesign it. The agency producing it were charging the organisation a lot of money for a two-colour (Rubine Red and Black), poor-quality product. I told the fundraising manager that I could create a better CMYK newsletter for a fraction of the cost with a much faster turnaround. The stakeholder and his team made a conscious decision to ensure the design had no Rubine Red to differentiate from the previous look. They decided to let me run with my ideas and were delighted with the results.
