Si nos atenemos a sus aspectos formales, su repetición e incluso su reinterpretación son difíciles, pues su lenguaje personal es más propio del genio que del creador de escuelas. El legado de Niemeyer va mucho más allá de los estilos. Posiblemente mucho más allá de la arquitectura. Pero se pretende rescatar no solo lo que dejó en edificios, paisaje, esculturas, estructuras, estilo y belleza, sino su pensamiento como ser humano, comprometido con un mundo que ansiaba cambiar.

It is evident the iconic character of their buildings, their sensual curves... If we stick to their formal aspects, their repetition and even their reinterpretation are difficult, because their personal language is more typical of genius than creator of schools. Niemeyer's legacy goes far beyond styles. Possibly much beyond architecture. But it is intended to rescue not only what he left in buildings, landscape, sculptures, structures, style and beauty, but his thinking as a human being, committed to a world that longed to change.
